our new homes

After a crazy couple of weeks we are settling into our new (temporary) homes. I thought you might like a peek at them.

I’d show you the inside but at least one of them looks like we need the TV show Hoarders to intervene. So I’ll spare you those pictures.

After a little over a week of living here I can confidently say that there are some benefits to living this way, such as

~having 6 washers and 6 dryers at my disposal
~lots of pavement for riding ripsticks
~a large clubhouse that we can use for our school time
~less housework means more free time for things like playing washers
~getting to do some hand stitching while watching the guys play washers
~showers that I don’t have to clean
We’re enjoying our little adventure and trying to get into a new rhythm for our family. The night before we moved we peeled the luffas and took pictures. I have no clue where the camera is hopefully not in storage. But when I find it, I’ll post pictures of the luffas.
Have a great week!

Thanks for sharing with your friends!

Hey, I missed this post. It brings back memories when hubby and I first got married. We lived in a 32 foot fifth wheel. Those were the days. Life was so simple. I look forward to reading about your move into your new place.

Christy, we'd love for you guys to skype in at co-op?? It's going pretty great. We have an amazing Chemistry teacher for the high school - she is all business. About the house, well, let's just say that apparently mortgages take longer than they did 8 years ago when we bought our last house. So, really I have no clue - all in God's timing.
