I’m Angi, wife to Carl, mom to of 6 great kids; Christian, Josiah, Gabriel, Phoebe, Benjamin and Esther – and “Grammie” to a grandson. Welcome to our small corner of the web. We’ve recently moved into an older home on 1.5 acres in South Texas. We’re in the process of turning this small patch of earth into something that can supply many of our needs for years to come (that includes gardens, fruit trees, chickens and bees so far.) We’re also turning this house into a home (that includes sewing, cooking, home decorating and homeschooling)
The “peeps” in SchneiderPeeps is slang for people (just in case you’re not up on your slang 😉 ) not a reference to Marshmallow Peeps. What can I say, our kids picked the name back in 2009. This blog is our attempt to help chronical our days, share information about things we enjoy and are learning about, and encourage others to try new things. Please be aware that even though this blog is anchored in our family life, it will never be about our entire life. There is just not room for that and, in all honesty, no one really wants to see a photo of the dirty dishes in my sink.
We’re excited you’re here and hope you enjoy your visit. Grab a cup of coffee or hot tea and stay a while.
Since every blog is set up a little different, I thought I’d give you a tour of SchneiderPeeps.
If you’re interested in going through the blog in reverse chronological order just click on the blog tab at the top of the page.
At the top of the blog we have links to the categories we talk about; such as In the Garden, In the Kitchen, In the Craft Room, In the Apothecary, and In the Home. Each category is further divided, so if you want to read the posts about preserving food, you just click Preserving Food from the drop down menu under In the Kitchen.
The products we’ve created are listed here. If you subscribe to the blog you’ll get access to our subscriber’s resource library – you should subscribe, there’s some pretty cool stuff in the library; including a short ecourse to help you simplify your life.
