SchneiderPeeps - Processing Honey

SchneiderPeeps - Processing HoneyWe’re trying a new technique to process honey from Gabriel’s bee removals. There’s nothing like a slow Sunday afternoon project to bring family togetherness.

Have a lovely weekend, Friends!

Thanks for sharing with your friends!

The unprocessed comb is incredible - I'd no idea that's what it looked like when you take it out of the frames - I hope the mincing machine did the trick to process it, it looks like fun in the making anyway :)

This comb wasn't in frames which is why it's harder to processes. This is from a bee hive that my son removed from someone's property - I think it was inside a shed wall. We've tried several different things, including crushing with a tortilla press but they are all labor intensive. This worked pretty well, a lot less hands on time.

This worked out really well. There was a lot less hands on time, which was great. I hear the bee removals are fun, I'm not allowed to go since I don't follow directions well when I want to take photos {ahem}.
