The Amazing Pillowcase Dress Sew~Along is our summer sewing school for 2012. You will learn a variety of skills including making a French seam, putting in elastic (2 different ways), using elastic
thread, sewing on bias tape, hemming (up to you) and sewing and turning tubes,
etc. All the while making some really cute dresses for the little girl in your life. This is geared toward the beginner sewer so is appropriate for elementary age children to adults.
The first Summer Sewing School was in 2011. This was designed to help the beginner sewer get comfortable with sewing by learning the basics of sewing while making practical and fun items. The items included a felt needlebook, a pincushion, a super easy hotpad, a lined tote bag, pajama pants and a doll quilt.
